How to Get a Copy of a Levy Court Document
There are three main ways to obtain a copy of a court document: online, in person, or by mail.
Online
Visit the Levy County Clerk Public Records portal. After reviewing the disclaimer, you can view and download uncertified copies of many court documents for free. Certified copies may not always be available online — in such cases, you need to contact the office.
In Person
Visit the Clerk of the Circuit Court office:
Bring identification with you. Provide the case number or full name of the party — the clerk will find the necessary document and make a copy on the spot. A certified copy bears the court's seal and the clerk's signature; it is required for submission to other government agencies.
By Mail
Send a written request to the court's address, specifying:
- Full name of the party or case number
- Type of document (e.g., final judgment, order, petition)
- Whether a certified copy is needed
- Return address and contact phone number
- Check or money order payable to Levy County Clerk of Court
Divorce certificates from June 6, 1927, onwards can also be ordered through the Florida Department of Health.
